Beautiful capture -- very dramatic...! I think that the thick smoky clouds in the sky, and the scene depicted, both add to a striking and slightly ominous feeling in your photo... I like your composition very much, with your choice of the overwhelming smoky sky, and your (small) subject pictured at the very bottom of it, emphasizing his desperate efforts and the drama of the overall scene...
