amitai schwartz 0 Posted July 20, 2010 This is a lovely image. The green cloth against the background works very well. It leaves a bit to the imagination, which adds an aura of mystery. Nice work. Link to comment
ken_thalheimer 3,739 Posted July 20, 2010 A very good composition with a nice slow shutter speed. Nice soft light on an overcast day Link to comment
976photo 0 Posted July 21, 2010 It's a good shot but... well here's my opinion, take it for what it's worth. What's the subject of this shot? Is it the girl? Or the rocks and waterfall? I can't tell where I'm suppose to focus my attention. A tighter crop on the model probably would have been better. Other than that, everything else is superb. Link to comment
shami 0 Posted July 21, 2010 A good image with very good composition.. and soft light... The models legs are well placed ... but in my view the picture over all lake some contrast... Link to comment
karen rexrode 0 Posted July 21, 2010 Fine comments by Luc and Ehtasham. I probably could have been in the water and cropped in much tighter. Otherwise longer lens. Better yet would have to been to climb a tree, shot down - a view I always want! I did like how the water went down the rocks. It's very much wide angle, something I have been working with a lot after a workshop .Less tree clutter, more dynamic shapes that could come together would have been better. Ehtasham, this is an HDR shot and they do end up flat. I did adjust the contrast, added a curve adjustment. I was trying to avoid the crazy HDR look. It may have been able to handle more but I am mostly confirming your thoughts because the original was very flat. Link to comment
joachim schneider 0 Posted August 4, 2010 Harmonious colors between nature and drapery.I think, it would be more exiting to place the lady closer to the water (maybe head down between the waterfalls?). So you will solve problems all at once, like anxious background and several eyecatchers.Dear greetingsJoachim Link to comment
