The ideal IMHO would be a little more contrast in the foreground but keeping it as is in the background, I mean the town walls included. In any case, I find it a beautiful and fascinating view. I also love the warm and soft colour toning. Regards!

Wow! Great treatment of the image to produce the color and mood.  One of the best shots in the forum today.   Did you happen to get a panorama of the town??

Not actually! I was just coming back from Limoges and I stopped by the resting area of the Belvedere :). I was lucky that the sun was setting at that time, and therefore the light was soft enough not to create hard shadows. I just took some close-ups of the city walls, without any tripod or anything else (so no panorama, sorry). I have applied an extra saturation and some light warming filter. I did just a soft enhancement of blacks and darkening of whites. I guess that an extra contrast would have sort of spoiled the soft feeling of the sunset, in a way. Thanks for commenting!
