Beautiful colours and nice details, Les!

This is a much better presentation of the place than the B/W, as one can see the difficult places the flowers are growing in . What I have learned touring Iceland , is that it takes about 500( hundreds ) years  to grow something in that vulcano rocks/soil after it has surged. It  is also the reason, most of Iceland is bare ,without trees....I'm sure you know all this....;-)) and still for others that will enter  this nice photo.Thanks for uploading this colored one, brings a lot of wonderful  memories.

The perfectly written textures of the stones Les and the natural colors! are among the credits of your image.

The colors of the tiny flowers contrast nicely against the rich green tones.
