L'avevo notata qualche tempo fa.

Very interesting and intriguing photo, I like the "layered" structure it has, and how the timid gaze down seems to look away from the people above. It adds a story to the photo for sure.

The only thing is maybe the window on the left; to me it distracts a bit and does not add much.

Communque, mi piace molto :-)

alon, fabrizio, bobby, thanks for your words! luca, wouter, i think too there are many ways to arrange this photo, the window on the right, the horizon.. i didnt find a way that really better than others. the mistake, for me, is the dof. i had preferred to have both, bg and first plan, focused. or i had preferred to have only the statue focused. here we have the building focused... this i dislike. ciao!

It intrigues me how the statue seems to be listening but not looking at the conversation happening above.  I really like the composition of this image.  Lovely indeed.

the lighting and angle on the statue's face and bust superbly capture her demure expression, Andrea! i might like the partial window cropped off the scene, because i'm glad the bg subjects are in focus, as perhaps it is they who focus on her, hense she shyly turns her head slightly away; i feel the subject is the three ;-} so glad your stuff is back with us! dp

Sorry for being late. This is a quite 'tricky' capture and i guess it's normal that you have to make some concessions oncerning the focus. I my opinion the final result is excellent. You managed the different light situations very well. From my side: big compliments!

hi andrea... this one says a lot to me,,,,i like a photo with a story.. the guy seems more interested in getting his picture taken than he is in the woman? only the statue in the foreground knows the truth i guess/ always wishing you the very best samme
