kdrews 0 Posted July 18, 2010 Bob, I really like this image. Perfect comp. I have to wonder what these hands have accomplished through the decades........intensely focused and still hard at work. Terrific!!! Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted July 18, 2010 From the coloring of her fingers and tips, it looks as though she is polishing something. Thankfully it does not look as though it is her dentures. People are always loosing those. My Ex worked at a local Sewage Facility. His first day on the job was doing 'grits'......I had no idea what he was doing, and served creamed corn along with the supper meal.....after his face turned green I got an idea what 'grits' was. But people were always flushing their dentures down the toilet....they had a whole drawyer of them. One evening while he was working, this dishevealed old couple came in wanting to know if the man's teeth had shown up there. He just opened the drawyer, the old lady just grabbed a pair and shoved them in his mouth....'They'll do you crazy ol' koot'....is what she said.....(they only rinsed them when they found them among the 'grits'...never sterilized them. They also had a wall of 'polaroide pics that people flushed down the toilet.....they don't degrade very much...had their own 'porono wall'.......'there's your SIGN' ! I hope this woman is not too impoverished.....hopefully she was working at an outdoor vendors booth, making a bit of money. You captured her intense expression really well, sincerely, Gail Link to comment
