Your technique is great, it's the model's expression that is bland. She doesn't seem to be relaxed. It looks like a posed smile.  Do you know her? I always chat with my models about something besides the shoot if they seem stiff. Just an idea. not trying to tell you how to shoot. ( you're obviously an expert-your portfolio proves that)

@ Joe, no I don't know the model ... thanks for the suggestions, always welcomed no matter what level of photography I achieve or think I achieved :)  .... actually you flatter me, I suck at posing models, I'm a quiet person normally so I just fire away.
