Upper Yosemite Falls, f14 at 1/80 (EOS 5D w/ 24-70 f2.8L and CPL). I

could reall never get the water to look like I wanted on any photo's (the

slides were a little better than the digital). The water just does not look

natural (perhaps with that volume of moving water it's difficult). I like this

one because of the yellow/orange-ish colours to the foliage). Thoughts?

I understand the about but the image along with the water fall is very outstanding, light and composition wise, wishing you all of the best.

Gregory, very good composition and colours.The blue sky with clouds and green foliage on the mountain enhance the beauty of the image. From that far, it is difficult perhas to capture the magical flow of water of the Yesomite Falls.Did you try any shot with narrow aperture?
