Rick - I'm a sucker for skies, I guess most landscape photographers are.  This one is fantastic.  Great job balancing light and exposure of the mid-ground areas.  I prefer the placement of the reflection in the botom 1/3.  I was wondering if you used ND filters or blended exposures?  It appears that no polarizer was used.

Where is this? Place looks very familiar (I was in Glacier NP recently - is it from there? Lake McDonald maybe?).

If its ok to ask, I would also like to know how you exposed, whether you used split ND and/or combined multiple exposures.

Hi...thanks for the comments! This is Sparks Lake in Central Oregon. Those mountains are Broken Top on the right, and S Sister on the left. This was a single raw file, even though I shot many variations of exposures.

Wonderful landscape shot, especially benefitting from the refelctions and the contrasts in lights and colors. BR / Volker
