len, Beautiful color, sharpness and rain drops!  Love it!  My neighbor's Clematis blooms have bit the dust with this hot weather in NY.

Yes, these blooms also were quite dusty before the rain.  Blooms & foliage always look their best after a rain.  Slightly tweaked (a light hand is best) in Photoshop for the richest colours and, hopefully, optimum sharpness. Best, LM.

Thanks, You are right, it was a very intensive visit in St. Petersburg and wonderful coming back home... ;-)) I  still PP and sort out the tone of photos....

I like the way you have isolated  one flower from the carpet/tapestry to show the details( and buds) ,which are very beautiful and rich in form , colors (purple/green) and water drops. Best Wishes, always nice to read you ,Len.

The deep rich colours, especially when wet, are an eye catcher and demanded to be recorded.  I was happy to oblige.  Your posted photos, travel or local, are a fine way for other viewers of PN to get a snapshot (forgive the pun) of places in the world we are unlikely to get a chance to visit.  So please continue to do so.  In turn I'll provide views of my locale as seen through my eyes.  I'll be your proxy, you be mine.  It's great fun participating.  Best, LM.

Beautiful floral capture of great light, details and original colors, wishing you all of the best.

Thanks for your thoughts on this one.  I try to maintain a neutral colour balance and saturation so there's very little manipulation post exposure.  Some prefer a more saturated look.  Best, LM.

Another good shot of your purple Clematis. Sharp and rich color. BG rather busy. Len select a flower on a side branch or pull one branch away from the vine and take an isolated flower against and calm BG. After you are done push the branch back in place. Regards, ifti.
