jimcrotty 0 Posted July 14, 2010 This is one of my personal favorites. Lone Maple leaf caught in pine branches. Taken in Red River Gorge on Fuji Velvia, back when I was still using film. Camera was a Canon 1V with Canon 100mm f2.8 macro lens. Link to comment
ldavidson 4 Posted July 15, 2010 I love this image, but if it were up to me I wouldn't have placed the leaf smack dab in the centre of the frame. I think this would have even more impact and drama if it were placed to one side or the other, in MYO. But that said, it is still sensational. Best wishes, Linda Link to comment
art_ro 0 Posted July 16, 2010 And I in contrast with Linda, I am dividing your composition what I included in my evaluation of this photographing.A few remarks, however will be.Firstly..., the frame is too massive, at black, with well selected red, I propose more delicate.Secondly..., won't be a crime, precise stamping of a few bright-green reflections on twigs in left, bottom area. They unnecessarily will disperse the attention, and there will be a nostalgia this way more. The background and colours included in it - outstanding. Very well done work.Whole-heartedly regards, Artur. Link to comment
