When I see your work I often wonder how many images go into making the final image. This reminds me of glass and water. I am not so sure about the surfing feel but maybe that's just me.

In this case only two images were used.  The background started as a photo of a studio muslin that looked a bit like a soft, cloudy sky. The foreground image is a three-dimensional construct.  A fairly simple image, just two layers.

It took me about ten minutes to make the background and about an hour to do the foreground, including around twenty minutes to render the final image.

I agree that it looks kinda like glass and water... of course, technically, both are liquids.  Yes... glass is a liquid, although extremely viscous. Measurable flow, at normal ambient temperatures, occurs over centuries.
