jeffl7 0 Posted July 12, 2010 The pastels, almost bleached out by the sun, are wonderful, giving a sense of indigenous glare. Link to comment
tonyfrench 0 Posted July 12, 2010 It certainly does have a fresh lightness to it. I like the soft light quality of the foreground contrasted by the dark impending storm clouds. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted July 13, 2010 As weightless and airy as a fine watercolor. Nice to see some new work from you, Bulent. Link to comment
pfranklin 0 Posted July 17, 2010 Very different and I have to say at first glance I didn't like it but after I studied this for a while it grew on me quite a bit. This needs to be viewed large and deserves a little time to study. I like the light and open feel, the fence is perfectly placed and adds interest to the view. Good eye and well doneTake care, Pamela Link to comment
3m 0 Posted July 22, 2010 Your photo feels airy and light to me as well -- & The fresh airy feeling seems to get enhanced by the opening in the fences... Link to comment
inoneeye 8,635 Posted July 24, 2010 Hi Bulent. Once again one of your gentle photos gives me an idea to file away for my architectural design ideas... many stolen. I love the fence design. and as out of place it might appear to be in this place it works well, especially the offset without a gate. Great color palette also. Boy that light you experience and so often photograph is magical almost like you have less gravity. Link to comment
celasun 0 Posted July 28, 2010 Thank you all for stopping by and watching this Anatolian Scene. It was, in fact, shot during a rather long and fast car trip away from home. I have noticed the scene and it took a few kilometers for me to realize I had to have it photographed. I could return some five kilometers later; fortunately nothing has changed dramatically in the meantime :)The light and the airy feel are, by the way, there all the time... Link to comment
human images 2 Posted November 11, 2010 i relate to your story Bulent - I rarely get second chances with pictures and sometimes I live to regret my slowness, inattention, and so I appreciate your driving back to shoot the scene, and show everyone why it seduced you; a soft dreamy picture, so easy on the eyes.
