pnital 36 Posted July 10, 2010 It is hard for me to choose, all 3 are so beautiful. What I like especially is the natural look of them, so different from what I see in the flower shops...I love the form each flower has, like little butterflies group assembly.....;-)) The purple colors are touching, and the hint of green on the lower part( and upper too) shows that it is the wonder that earth grows , and we human being can enjoy this natural beauty. As I like so much your series of them, I recomend each visitor entering your work, to look for those files. Thanks for uploading all 3 of them! Link to comment

LindaM 2 Posted July 11, 2010 I love the combination of sharpness and blur. Did you do this in camera or post? Either way, lovely results! Link to comment
jeff.grant 0 Posted July 11, 2010 Very nice Gordon, beautiful layering, and almost gone stem in the dark. No nits to pick here. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 13, 2010 There's a luscious simplicity to this. The gentle implied movement, the rich yet soft color, the hint of stem grounding it, the depth you've achieved. You bring a unique and personal vision to flower photos I don't often experience in the genre. There's something exhilarating about looking at this, as if the petals are dancing with your camera. Personality. Link to comment
ldavidson 4 Posted August 4, 2010 Gordon, this is enchanting. I looked at this for several minutes, it is almost hypnotic. The sharp focus and the difussion works so well together. Great image. Link to comment
