This shot is just lovely Linda, sure do love that camera of yours, it seems to be living up to all the rave review it's getting.  Beautiful, delicate texture and color, with a DOF that is just soft enough to add to the entire photo withou being too blurred. Your lighting is just right (at least for me).  I'm so glad you got such a 'gem' to work with.  We only 'go round' once, might as well have some fun with our love of Photography while we can.  Each day is precious, as is this composition.  Most Sincerely, Gail

Beautiful colors, textures, and composition Linda. I think I'd be tempted to crop a touch off the left side - say right up to that diagonal blade of grass?

Thanks for visiting and thanks for advice. My thinking was that this crop would look less symetrical with the space on the left and also balance the buds and dead heads behind and to the right of the lily. I will try it, maybe I will like it better that way. Best wishes.
