St.Petersburg is a decorated city, especially the museums,cathedrals, palaces, houses facades, statues everywhere, fountains, even in the less centered areas.The ( French/italian) Baroque style is the "king"( also Rococo)...A lot of decorated elements, gold ,and artistic load.
