The photo leaves me a bit with split thoughts on it (and maybe that's a good thing).

On the one side, it has an almost brutal simplicity; makes it in a way a pretty hard and in-your-face photo. Everything is geometrical, and the black and white makes it even more so.

On the other hand, it's very lifeless, and maybe a bit too much so.

There is, to me, a certain sadness in this scene; the (to me) uninspiring architecture, the lifelessness, the emptiness.... If that's your intended effect, it works well. But maybe it's just a bit too hard at it; maybe a little sign of life would just have mellowed it down a little. Well, it also depends on what you were after when you made it, of course.

Thanks, Wouter.  I suppose that it depends on what you bring to the photo.  I rather liked the stark simplicity of it.
