Valley of the World - California State Route 1 / Castroville (please enlarge)

There are many beautiful landscape photos in your portfolio, no doubt, but somehow this photo appeals me because other values than just beauty alone.

This is outstanding because of the misty overcast weathe condition. My attention was catched by the cut-out effect of that man figure and logo hovering in the air. Then the visual link between the exposed support construction, the "T" and those tops of powerline posts. The green paint on poster stand, on the logo and the green of the plants links fine, thanks to the weather - no blue sky to steal the show. Bravo.

belongs maybe rather to travel than street. Although I shot this

picture while standing directly on the road shoulder of HW #1...

Hence, it is a street-travel-landscape shot or so. ;-)
