The woman, depicted left, is happy, free and easy with plenty of space,

while the fast food eaters are pushing themselves into a corner, and

seem very serious. Your ratings, critiques, and remarks are invited and

most welcome. If you rate harshly or very critically, please submit a

helpful and constructive comment; please share your photographic

knowledge to help improve my photography. Thanks! Enjoy! John

Posted in last month and fraction, taken in one day.

And I'm only posting the best.

I was thrown out of my wheelchair and forced out of the airport on an overnight between planes.  I managed to get downtown (I travel on airplanes by wheelchair with a lift because of mobility problems with legs, etc. which airline often will not accommodate, wrongfully)  (( won't yet name airline as it is against law to discriminate like that).

In any case, no money, no hotel, stuck in strange town, hurting like hell, I took some photos.

You can look back about a month for first and a few more to come; one of my best days ever.

Pain does not have to stop good photographs and in fact I have argued that seeing a great photo on a digital readout screen can act as a great analgesic.

Nevertheless I was bedridden mostly for over a week when I got to my destination.  The good photos I got I look on as some small consolation for being abandoned by my airline while disabled.

Not everything in life worth having is easy; I share the fruit of my efforts with you with great pride, taken as I hobbled through Vienna, penniless, abandoned by my airline.

Welcome and thanks so much.

If you haven't you might mark me 'interesting' if you'd like to see new and interesting work not posted yet.  I almost always have a pretty good inventory of photos that have not yet been posted; for instance this sat over a month before it was posted.

Whether you do so mark me or not, welcome and thanks again, SO MUCH for the compliment.

Oh, and I don't look at rates from commenters and viewers until after my response and do not thank for high ratings; rather a blanket thanks both for rating (I did notice yours and am pleased) and for taking the time to rate and to write me.  (addendum by edit after first posting)  jc
