A simple study!

Feedback appreciated.

I like the P.O.V. here. The depth of field give this a strong sense of realism (for lack of a better word)...like something I might see after removing the pillow from over my head the morning after a long night of partying. Insert long, drawn out sigh here: ____________.

The arm coming in diagonally from the left is a strong contrast to the curve of the breast which sort of comes in diagonally from top right, but they work well together, I think. It's a subtly sensual image...sort of semi-erotic and comforting at the same time. I like it that the circumstances and any implications are left entirely up to the viewer.

As I look at it I can't help but wonder how different it would be if the focus was on her hand and her breast was out of focus? I'll have to try that sometime if you didn't.

David,  I love this picture, it is not just a nude it has a very erotic touch to it.  The hand reaching out.  Also my wife loved it, even though she is not that enthousiastic about nudes ...   Ben

Mark, Your comment hits home a very important point. I was taking images of another model a day or two before this one and I was changing focussing points. I am really annoyed with myself that I did not do so in this case. However, it gives me something to try next time. Thanks a lot.

I like the DOF in this pitcure and the subtle nude overtone to the shot. Very nicely done.
