Eugenio,

She is a beautiful girl. Her skin tone is very good. She has good eye contact with the camera (viewer) and quite the seductive expression. Your lighting is very nice. The shadows on her face add interest and help to create an illusion of depth within your photograph. The highlights on her face are very good. I especially like the specular highlights on her lips. Her hair color and style look very nice on her. I love the color. The background is nicely out of focus and goes well with her skin tone.

You would put the background even more out of focus, and eliminate her shadow on it, by moving her a little farther away from it.

Her bright blue top contrasts nicely with the brown tones, but with the colorful trim, it does draw my attention away from her face. Perhaps a more subdued blue would work better for a portrait.

You have focused quite well, but I think her eyes could be a little sharper. Make sure her eyes are in critical focus.

Her make-up looks good, but a little eyeliner under her eyes would frame them and help them to stand out better.

You have a merger with her hair and the top of the frame. Either crop into her hair like to mean it (and move in a little closer) or give her some headroom.

Your lighting is very good, but I would like to see more light in her eyes, especially her left eye.

You have catch lights, but they would look better if they were brighter and not quite so tiny. It almost looks like you used your on-camera flash to create her catch lights, except that they aren't centered in her pupils. Catch lights look best on the irises. Her pupils are quite dilated. If you use brighter modeling lights or have a brighter area to shoot her in, her eyes will not become so dilated.

Be careful of her posture. I would have her sit up straighter with her shoulders back and her chest out. It looks like she is leaning back with her head bent down. She appears a tad uncomfortable and rather awkwardly posed. She should straighten her top to remove the wrinkles.

I would lighten the circles under her eyes.

Nice shot,

Mark

This is a beautiful portrait of a beautiful young woman that does more then mirror her face but rather it has caught the essence of her internal beauty. Wonderful

Me gusta mucho este retrato. La modelo tiene una mirada muy interesante y se nota que hay complicidad entre ella y el fotografo. Los colores de la piel estan muy bien armonizados con los del fondo. Una foto bien bonita. Felicitaciones.
