Denis,

She is a beautiful girl. She looks very elegant. You have focused very well on her eyes. This is a very well done profile. She has an excellent catch light in her beautiful blue eye. The lighting is very good. Her skin tone is very good. You have filled in the shadows nicely. The background is nicely neutral. She is quite well separated from the background. Her make-up looks very good. I like the specular highlights on her lips. She has a very nice smile. You have excellent contrast and color saturation.

A hair or backlight would have better separated her hair from the background.

The viewer's eyes will go to the earring and follow it down and out of the photograph because there is no place to stop. If you would zoom out, or back up, you could crop below her earring. This would provide the viewer with a place to stop. You want to keep the viewer's eyes within the photograph.

Your subject should have more room in front of her than behind. This allows her to be facing into the picture, not out of it. You want to compositionally balance the left and right sides of the photograph. The compositional "rule" for this suggests that you position the tip of the subject's nose in the vertical center of the photograph. This little rule almost always works well. At least, it gives you a very good starting point to position your subject.

Nice shot,

Mark

Denis,

This is an attractive image to view,

I noted that you used a 200mm at 1/30 second. This suggests that you have very steady hands or some support system was employed.

Good job.

Regards,  Mike
