hudsonphotos 0 Posted November 27, 2002 More topless than nude, but more importantly my scanner does the same thing - putting those lines through the image. What's up with that? Link to comment
robert_kennedy 0 Posted November 27, 2002 I wish I knew! It is a pain to edit out. And yeah, more topless than nude, but some people are more sensitive than others so I went with nude to warn them off. Link to comment
kevin_kolosky 2 Posted November 27, 2002 Photography is about the "thing" photographed. As Edward Weston Used to say, "I don't care if the photo is printed on a floormat so long as the subject matter is good". Who cares about some lines? Not me. Here, there is a "realness" and a "look" about the person photographed that is absolutely exquisite! Lets see more. Kevin Link to comment
hudsonphotos 0 Posted November 28, 2002 The lines are indeed a pain to edit out Robert. My websites sells my wedding photography, so I can't have lines there at all. Link to comment
robert_lightfoot 0 Posted December 2, 2002 I like the expression on the model's face. She looks pleasant, natural--not aggressively sexual.I found myself wondering how this shot would look in color.....If the line comes from a film scanner, carefully blow it out with compressed air--it appears you have a dirt speck on the sensor element...if it isn't a scratch. jay_de_fehr 0 Posted December 4, 2002 This photo feels sincere and warm and confident, what more could one want? The line would bother me if it were my photo, but not yours. A portrait to be proud of, and I'll bet your subject likes it as well. Link to comment
