GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted June 27, 2010 This Composition is a combination of quite a few layers. I was trying for the look of the sheerness you find in fine lingerie or soft sheer drapes that flow when met with a summer breeze. (Comments welcome with thanks, Gail) Link to comment

billsymmons 0 Posted June 27, 2010 Hi GailThe title definitely describes the image you have created here. The layering is very well done. I guess you have created a new flower that is quite beautiful. And not only that but you have found a little pixie to dance on the petals !!Nice workAll my best, Bill Link to comment
3m 0 Posted June 27, 2010 Hi Gail, I think that you managed to achieve the sheerness quite well in your photo -- I like how there also seems to be a rotating movement, intertwined with the nice soft pastels and the translucent perception of the flower -- a very creative capture indeed! Kind regards, Marjolein Link to comment

dabar 0 Posted June 27, 2010 This is a very special image Gail. You have succeeded in creating a 'flower' with light, color and texture. WOW!Now... why not try for a female form using the same sheer fabric effect... not so much sexy as mysterious. Might be fun... Link to comment
bobkurt 1 Posted June 28, 2010 I like it. So colorful, beautiful, great saturation, well done. Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted June 28, 2010 HOpe you had a good weekend. The weather was not so obliging for visiting the TO Patios where I'm sure if it had been sunny a lot of good music would have been found. But I'm sure they always go indoors ! Thankyou for your insightful and kind remarks; I'm still looking for the Pixie....think I've almost found it! Cheers, hope the week is a good one. Gail Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted June 28, 2010 What a lovely and insightful critique. You used many of the words I was searching for when I finally finished it. "translucent perception'...those are going in my journal. And yes, you saw the 'movement' that I had used in its inception. Thankyou for your visit, I do enjoy hearing from you. Sincerely, Gail Link to comment
