A very inviting image of a warm looking town... but...

The degree of contrast on the buildings suggests that it was a fairly sunny day.  However, the sky is dull as are the buildings... So...

I 'fixed' it... to my liking, perhaps not yours my friend.  Consider it a compliment, but a BAH! HUMBUG! is OK too... ;-)

Dave, you're right and it's a shame on me that I didn't fix it not to look dull! That is the right word! I could have done it with shadow/highlight adjusting or simply with hue/saturation or selective color! The problem is that I didn't see it and what is the use of the lens and light for those who don't have look and mind!

I think this is very good. I have only dabbled in PP with these type of effects and feel that its a lot of work. Since you have mastered the technique it shows in your work and this is top notch. Do you still live in this lovely place?  I love the P/P on this one.  Very sutiable and complimentary to the photograph.  It seems to be such a lovely place.  We always seem to hold dear the place we first called home.  I do hope you feel that way......so colorful and bright and among my most favorite colors. Lovely composition and so well executed by the 'Wizard'...(I hope you don't mind me calling you that.  Your photo always reminds me of a 'Wizard'.....very mysterious and capable of so many magical tricks !  However, it is your genius at Photography and Digital Creations that I think you use your 'wand' for most! Beautiful composition of shape and colour. Dave did  a good work with the sky, but I like the original colour because I prefer to see the buildings seemed stronger and more beautiful silhouette.  Interesting work.
