dabar 0 Posted June 26, 2010 A very inviting image of a warm looking town... but...The degree of contrast on the buildings suggests that it was a fairly sunny day. However, the sky is dull as are the buildings... So...I 'fixed' it... to my liking, perhaps not yours my friend. Consider it a compliment, but a BAH! HUMBUG! is OK too... ;-) Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 258 Posted June 26, 2010 Dave, you're right and it's a shame on me that I didn't fix it not to look dull! That is the right word! I could have done it with shadow/highlight adjusting or simply with hue/saturation or selective color! The problem is that I didn't see it and what is the use of the lens and light for those who don't have look and mind!PDEI did the hue-saturation stuff! Thank you for the advice Dave! Link to comment
esteban Rios 18 Posted June 27, 2010 Nice perspective, the post-processing is very atractive, it reminds me an aquarelle. Cordialement Link to comment

John Peri 1,007 Posted June 29, 2010 Wonderful new works Pierre, as always, but I am in an internet cafe and I will have to seek another opportunity to go over the pictures more carefully. We have a long summer ahead of us ... until then, best wishes, John Link to comment

hstelljes 41 Posted July 13, 2010 I think this is very good. I have only dabbled in PP with these type of effects and feel that its a lot of work. Since you have mastered the technique it shows in your work and this is top notch. I like it very much and will view more of your work in the near future. Thanks for sharing, and stopping by my page. Take care.Best Regards,Holger Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 5 Posted July 14, 2010 Do you still live in this lovely place? I love the P/P on this one. Very sutiable and complimentary to the photograph. It seems to be such a lovely place. We always seem to hold dear the place we first called home. I do hope you feel that way......so colorful and bright and among my most favorite colors. Lovely composition and so well executed by the 'Wizard'...(I hope you don't mind me calling you that. Your photo always reminds me of a 'Wizard'.....very mysterious and capable of so many magical tricks ! However, it is your genius at Photography and Digital Creations that I think you use your 'wand' for most! I often think you should have a 'Crystal Ball' under that photo...it'd be even more 'Magical' !! Best regards and congrats on a fine piece of art. Respectfully yours, Gail Link to comment

nathary 0 Posted July 21, 2010 Beautiful composition of shape and colour. Dave did a good work with the sky, but I like the original colour because I prefer to see the buildings seemed stronger and more beautiful silhouette. Interesting work. Link to comment
