Every picture tells a story and I judge its effectiveness by how well that story is portrayed.  Here I am confused.  Clearly a mother and child - with mom's nose pressed against the frame (ouch!) and the child partly cut off.  Why a square format?  A horizontal one just screams out to be used here.

I'm not so sure that is true.  Where is the story in a "green pepper"? Or maybe the story is there but its up to one to grow it. "Whatevery turns you on" as they say.
