Acacia Climbing

As I was opening the hood of my landcruiser to refill some oil a thin

elegant snake popped its head out from the engine block. After some

convincing on my part by waving my sun cap the snake decided to climb

the nearby tree. It was amazing as to how quick this reptile weaved

its way up the branches using the long thorns as a hold. (I never

found out what snake this is, so any info would be

welcome...photographed in Etosha NP in Namibia).

Great capture..... especially of such a fast moving animal.

This snake is definitely a grass or sand snake (the striped belly and shape of the head), but will need to see the top to determine exactly what it is...
