I know I didn't follow the rule of horizon not in center but it didn't seem to

matter how I cropped it I lost the better parts. Any comments are

appreciated

I like the  symmetry of  this  image, the  tonal range,  the  layers  of  grass  on the  shore, the water the other  side  of shores and forest, the  distant  mountains  and  as a crown on the  image  the  perfectly exposed  sky, not  over  powering the whole image. Simple  but  perfectly balanced  composition. Bravo Diane.

 

Oh. Please straighten out  the  slanted  horizon.  A secondary problem only.

Great sky, nice foreground, nicely balanced.  They are not "rules" but rather guidelines that often will help produce an aesthetically pleasing photo.  Following the guidelines does not guarantee a good photo, and contradicting the guidelines does not guarantee a bad photo.
