So began a largely unpleasant encounter, despite that some of the other shots make him appear at worst benign.    Not satisfied that my dog and I calmly retreated, it worked itself ahead of us over our half mile walk out of his field and confronted us at the exit.  A lobbed golf ball gave us little space, but some time, to finally leave.  I'm done with wild coyotes.

This wild male coyote was messaging my leashed 60 lb. dog after the

coyote had gathered up his wayward puppy. Nothing good occurred

with Dad after he dealth with his puppy. Half a mile walk to get out of

his field, and near the exit, I found he had worked himself ahead of us

to confront us again. Point taken, he can have his field.

This series of photo's is very eye opening. I have only had a few curiouse one's follow but never get aggressive.  Unfortunely, I have heard of a few cases where they have even started fights and taunting dogs out on walks. I am much more wary than I used to be. Great shots...

Stay safe...
