marcadamus 1 Posted June 9, 2010 A place you haven't seen before. A tiny crack in the ground that opened up to reveal one of the great sandstone wonderlands I've ever seen. What you're looking at here is the lower half of an arch combined with reflected light in the background overhang and rolled mud cracks left behind by the last water to accumulate here. mpitak 0 Posted June 10, 2010 Marc, I did today a test. I have asked few people (home/office) what they think about this photo. All of them said that it reminds them a chocolate!!! They have confirmed my feelings. Tasty photo. Regards. Link to comment
crow0806 18 Posted June 11, 2010 Photos of the canyon are common now, but you have managed to take something new and unexpected. Good job! (And it does look like chocolate : ) Link to comment
marcadamus 1 Posted June 11, 2010 Photos of THIS canyon may have never been shot before. It's amazing how many slots you can find in the SW. The usual, Antelope Canyon, isn't even 1% of all the photo opportunities. Link to comment
BobSandford 0 Posted June 12, 2010 excellent use of texture and light to create three distinct visual areas - that, combined with the angle and crop make this undeniably striking. Link to comment
eleept 0 Posted September 14, 2010 Great textures and colors along with the arch is pretty sweet. Aren't most of these areas that have the slot canyons on reservation land? How do you get permission to explore these slot canyons? Link to comment
michaelseewald 237 Posted September 27, 2010 Stunningly beautiful in so many ways. Balance, light, depth, color/density, line/form, textures, centers of interest and overall feeling/sense of time and place to make this one of the best ever created. I just added this as a fav and then noticed one of the other three I had already added months ago was also yours! Keep up the great work. Link to comment
