2 Headed Giraffe Creature :-}

This is a great optical illusion. At first I thought the necks were intertwined, but it's the kink in the neck of the front giraffe combined with the colour/shadow. Exposure, detail, & colour are gorgeous. What a difference it makes to an image when the sky isnt washed out.

That's not an illusion. Australian giraffes are substantially different from the African variety.

The illusion, Paul, is that the necks are one in the same and/or wrapped around each other. Some people simply don't pay attention! Anyway... I like it. It's a fresh view of a pretty over-photographed subject.

Gee Amy - I didn't see that! I think Michael and Geraldine would know where I'm coming from, being as they are non-Americans and therefore having a sense of ironic humour :-)) FWIW I like the picture too.
