Long exposure streaks the clouds over Mono Lake at Twilight.

Nice leading lines in the clouds Marc, I also like the reflections of the clouds and rocks in the still water, composure works well too with the rocks gradually leading your eye into the middle of the frame. Well done!

very difficult to get the right exposure in such situations. but this is perfect, its so good to see details on the top of the rocks and mountains without being pitch black. amazing scenery and clouds.

Great composition and cloud movement here Marc, but the image is littered with noise, especially noticeable in the sky, in fact there is heavy banding too, just a heads up mate.

John, sorry.  There is extremely little noise in the original 100 ISO file.  What you're seeing there isn't noise, but rather too aggressive a sharpening technique for web.  I was just doing it too quickly in too bright a room I guess.  Whoops.  I like to sharpen skies because it's hard to convey the same type of detail and contrast that you might see in a bigger print at such small size, but I just overdid it here.
