This is a very endearing portrait of this puppy. I especially like the somewhat rumpled look of the fur on his body and that left ear. As a personal preference, I tend to like catchlights in both eyes. And the muted tones here work well, I think, to convey a quiet mood with what is usually (I'm assuming, knowing puppies) a fairly rambunctious subject. 

I think it is no easy to make a photo of a dog this relax way. You did it! CFongrats.
