An outstanding portrait Bob.  You have captured not only the person, but have reached in with this photo and 'connected with her soul'.  Fantastic timing, lighting, color, but most impressive is the detail in her face.  One does not know the person but  wonders what thoughts consumed her at this very moment.  An intense thought provoking image.  One of your best, for me at least (considering the amount of time I've been on PN....and I have not viewed your entire Portfolio).

Your lovely soft DOF, with it's dark hues accentuates the 'mood', while the lovley blues in her top give us just enough color to accentuate her gaunt face and what appears to be an ever so delicate frame.  Congrats, Bob, a very moving Portrait, so well presented.  Most sincerely, Gail

I love photos like this....when they make you think about the subject...i'm not sure if she's tired or in a moment of despair....or just sitting on a park bench waiting for the bus....its in the moment and natural....love it..
