bdogani 0 Posted June 1, 2010 Its a good picture, but I don`t like the flower on her mouth, it just dosen`t fit in this image. otherwise great work Link to comment
gordonjb 10,860 Posted June 3, 2010 Doug; I feel your pain! My favourite of the series so far. Nice how well the skirt ties in with the blue sky and clouds, in fact the choice of background adds considerable to the shot. Nice lighting on the model. I love the tantalizing camera angle..... and yes the flowers are lovely. I enjoy your conceptual series they are fun to watch evolve. I'll be looking forward to seeing where your flowers take you. fos 0 Posted June 4, 2010 Hi, best one of the series so far. I am not sure why but the shadows on her right leg did confuse me for a moment. Overall, above the stairs, the lighting/colors/comp is great. Congrats. Frank Link to comment
dougityb 0 Posted June 4, 2010 Thanks Frank,Not sure what you mean by "Overall, above the stairs, the lighting/colors/comp" Is that a reference to the zig zags? Or just to everything else except the shadows? Link to comment
dougityb 0 Posted June 4, 2010 By the way, Simon and Bulent, I do appreciate your sharing your opinions. While I disagree with them, I also accept their validity. They serve to push me harder towards finding a more effective combination of visual elements with which to convey my message. Maybe subsequent images in this ongoing series will make more sense. erin_____grasshopper__rice 0 Posted June 8, 2010 I also wanted to chime in and say that this one is splendid. My only niggles are her clenched right wrist appearing out of her skirt, and the hill behind her, though it gives a nice contrast to the blue sky. I'm really enjoying the various flowers, they help me to look at other parts of the picture and not get to focused on the face. Link to comment
