wmc718 3 Posted May 30, 2010 As soon as this image struck my eye while scrolling down, there was no doubt that it was a signature John Peri shot - always beautiful, always intriguing! Well done John. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 30, 2010 My friend, the model is of a beautiful figure and a pleasant appearance while the capture is having all of the elements so well balanced, thank you for sharing it and wishing you all of the best. Link to comment
kdrews 0 Posted May 30, 2010 Another terrific John Peri image. I wonder if the guys following the model have a clue as to what's happening? Cheers! Link to comment
jerrymat 5 Posted May 30, 2010 John,You certainly know a lot of girls who are so poor that they cannot afford clothing under their coats. I really like the effects you are getting and would love to try it but am afraid of being arrested in the area of Seattle, where I live.Looking at this one, I decided to play with the composition and I would like to suggest that a vertical image cropping out the cars on the right would make it stronger. (See my upload.) Notice that the strong perspective of the automobiles implies lines (I drew them in white) that are not in empathy with the model and the male observers. The implied lines are fighting the purpose of the image. If you crop it vertically (the lower image) the implied lines from the observers to the model are much stronger. This results (imho) in an overall stronger image.Regards,Jerry Matchett Link to comment
John Peri 1,033 Posted May 31, 2010 Many thanks ror the trouble taken Jerry. It definitely leads to a stronger composition. If I use this photo anywhere I will crop it. Thanks again. Warm thanks to the others also for the interest expressed. John Link to comment

clemsonguy 0 Posted May 31, 2010 I really like this and all your city street shots. Really sparks the imagination. The real question is--have you or your models ever had to post bail? LOL.Keep it up! Link to comment
John Peri 1,033 Posted June 1, 2010 Clermson .. precisely at this spot .. read outside my house .. I once looked up and saw three young policemen looking on from the other side of the street. The only problem was that they wouldn't go away, and we had to go back inside until they left .. : -) Link to comment
elportebonheur 0 Posted June 2, 2010 Looking at the thumb it was clear - it's yours - has your signature, definitely. Great 'candid street' again. Compliments, regards, have fun. El Link to comment
