Cormorant (Phalacrocorax carbo)

These two cormorants were searching for the best place to set up home and build a

nest. The were checking the cliff edge for stability and protection.

When something arouse their suspicion they fly away and check another place.

I took this photo from my hide using a shutter release remote control approximately

100 meters away from the cliff The birds were not disturbed by my presence at all so

felt safe and comfortable in their natural environment.
