I like the composition and the subject matter but I am not a huge fan of the post production (HDR?).  I suspect the subject was a bit dark relative to the background and this was an attempt to bring out the details.  I think if were to bring down the brightness in the hair and around the leather straps in the headband where you are getting glowing edges, it might be a little more natural looking.
