Aleksandar,

She is a very pretty girl. You have focused well on her eyes. She has excellent eye contact with the camera (viewer) and a pleasant expression -- just a hint of a smile. Her skin tone is beautiful. I love her Rembrandt lighting and the specular highlights on her lips. Her make-up is wonderfully applied. The background is nicely neutral.

Cropping that far into her head implies a very very tight crop on the bottom. If you mean to include all of her face you need to give her much more headroom.

You may want to crop just a tad off the right side. You want to compositionally balance the left and right sides of the photograph. The compositional "rule" for this suggests that you position the tip of the subject's nose in the vertical center of the photograph.

Notice the neckline of her top. The viewer's eyes will go to the “V” formed by the sides of the neckline and follow it down and out of the photograph because there is nothing there to stop them. You should try to crop below where the “V” of the neckline comes together so that the viewer's eyes have a place to stop. Her chest is brighter than her face. That will draw attention away from her face. The viewer's attention will always go to the brightest area in your picture (or a bright color like red or a color that is different from the other colors -- lets face it there are many things the viewer's eyes will go to, but the brightest area is one of them). You must either crop below the opening or subtly burn that area in to keep the viewer within the photograph.

Parts of her necklace and her left shoulder is out of focus. I don't see a good reason to have any of her out of focus. An out of focus background is very nice and focuses attention on your subject. Parts of your subject out of focus will draw attention away from what is in focus. It is difficult to go wrong with having the entire subject in focus.

Always remember to center a necklace on your subject's chest. Any off-center necklace will draw the viewer's attention away from your subject's face.

A hair or backlight would help separate your subject from the background. You may want a kicker on the right (her right) side of her sweater. You have lost most of its detail.

Nice shot,

Mark
