kslonaker 0 Posted May 26, 2010 I like the way the drapes kind of frame her. I feel like I'm right there. Good control of light and shadows. Link to comment
elportebonheur 0 Posted May 30, 2010 Very touchy capture...story telling, elegant, self explanatory. One of my personal favorites and one of your very best in your collection. Chapeau! Link to comment
trisha jean-angela 5 Posted May 31, 2010 Lovely capture! I love the light in the curtains and how they seem to float in the breeze, surrounding her as she looks through treasured photos and papers. A very beautiful shot with a lot of feeling. Very nicely done. Thank you for sharing. :) Link to comment

margaret1 0 Posted June 11, 2010 I feel as though I am eavesdropping and want to know exactly what she is reading. I love the relaxed real feeling in this composition. You quietly bring out all of her beauty. Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted July 7, 2010 This shot reminds me of the many times that I start one job, and end up being surrounded by about 5.......but then you find the old photos, and get caught up in the happy moments....often so long ago but still woven into the fabric of your life. Very well taken and presented. Just a great nostalgic shot with a very candid subject. Congrats, Gail Link to comment
harlequin 0 Posted July 7, 2010 Interesting character study. I like the B&W, I like the drape of the curtains and I like her point of concentration. The only thing that bothers me, I am not sure what she is sitting on, but I know what it looks like she is sitting on, which I don't think is your intention. - Charles Link to comment
3m 0 Posted April 1, 2012 Sorry that I didn't get to comment on this one before, Emmanuel; it's a wonderful portrait. I too like the sepia tones you applied here. The soft breeze blowing against the sheer curtains really enhance the gentle, intimate mood & feeling of this. Lovely work. best, Marjolein Link to comment
