Firstly, let me thank you for your kind words.

As to the technique... I'd have to write a small book to adequately describe the methods and tools I use, some of which are not traditional photo tools.

I use Paint Pro Photo 13 along with various scientific visualization tools and 3D rendering.  In addition, the variables are effectively infinite, making the process hard to elucidate.

I am not trying to evade the question... just being honest, and perhaps showing my shortcomings.  I simply don't know how to provide a simple answer.
