Very nice. I like the colors and altough the composition challenge the famous rule of thirds you show us how every rule is meant to be broken.

This is a holy symbol for Japan. Called a Torii gate near a Shinto

shrine. Any thoughts are most welcome .

Has a serene calming effect Gerry. The book I just finished reading mentioned Miyajima Island so now I have an image to go along with the mental images we create when reading. The book was titled The Gift of Rain: A Novel.. by Tan Twan Eng. Thanks for sharing this beautiful photo with us.
