Outstanding image, the hand is so well lit and detailed with very impressive skin tone, wishing you all of the best y friend.

A graceful hand gesture, one that could have so many meanings, I like to think she is offering it to another....Place you hand in mine, and I will show you the way, when you  are lost I will take you home, when you are hungry I will feed you, when you are lonely and afraid, the simple warmth of my hand in yours will show you that others truly care.  So  many people today are missing the essential 'feeling' of 'touch'........espeially our elderly.

So many alone and forgotten in old age homes.  Lonely ones on the streets, children with parents who observe them as 'baggage'.  A hand extended towards another as in this photo means so much.....even as a symbol of one who critiques our photos, 'You are anxious about your skills, come, take my hand, and I will encourage, support, and lift you up (just as the hand is in the photo).

You could have easily taken a photo of a hand  reaching our, but facing down. It still would have said, 'let me help you'............but it would have been an empty hand, her your 'model's' hand is facing up, full of frienship, help, opportunity, selflessness, and the words come to mind 'Do not be afraid, I am here and you are not alone'.................beautiful work .....a simple gesture but so full of promise and good will.  Thankyou Ricardo for your 'insight' and the 'generosity of Spirit' you show to so many of us on PN.  I just saw how many photos you took the careful time to critique, all so full of encouragement, and at a time when that sentiment was truly what I needed'.  Do not ever think you are not Special, for you are, selfless and giving, one who would 'lift another up' before he would ever bring them down.  You are a 'rarity in this life'...........God bless, and many thanks, Gail  (it is a shame that just because you had rated a few of my photos with a 7, I cannot rate as I feel this shot deserves. A shot that touched my heart and had boundless meaning.  Please accept my 6's and know they are truly 10's.  Exceptional individuality and one who works so hard at his craft, is deserving of praise and thanks.  I offer this, along with my 6's........this shot, a 'symbol' of comraderie for us all'....most sincerely, Gail
