lizweisiger 0 Posted May 20, 2010 Very nice capture, Linda. I love the color of the crab cage bobbers contrasting with the muted tones of the mountains. Link to comment

jtipton 0 Posted May 22, 2010 Beautiful shot Linda. I guessed the Okanagan before doing a quick confirmation. It's very similar terrain to Lake Roosevelt. Love the calm of this shot. Have a great weekend. Jim Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 22, 2010 There seems to me some whimsy in this shot, the buoys adding a bit of man-made color to the otherwise unsaturated natural landscape. They are like punctuation marks to the scene. There's energy against the calm. Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted May 23, 2010 Beautiful capture Linda. Lovely reflections on the lake. My brother spoke often of going to the 'shwap'. I think they had a trailer somewhere in this beautiful spot. The 'floaters' add exra interest, especially the reflections. Have a great weekend Linda. It's pretty warm here. Humidity in the 30's, just what our hormones love! cheers for now, Gail Link to comment
jana 1 Posted May 28, 2010 Hello Linda, I see what caught Your attention here. This scene has a lot of possibilities for experiments. EG Have You tried to go more abstract (cropping the scene , different POV etc.?) Wonderful exercise for compositions, cheers Jana Link to comment
ldavidson 4 Posted May 28, 2010 Thanks for the suggestion. I hadn't thought of doing that but it is great idea. I don't usually experiment with landscape shots, but I should try it. All the best, Linda Link to comment
