Arizona, Apache Mountains

The soft but very directional light (probably due to a cloud covering the sun?)  provides a high enough ratio to give dimension to elements in the scene but low enough to reveal great shadow details.  Sweet!  A bonus is the beautiful rendition of the blue sky which is broken up with white fluffy clouds.  If I didn't know this was a digital file I'd have guessed it was recorded on Velvia film, the colours are that rich.  A composition in which the proportions of land and sky are given appropriate spaces to render the scene pleasing to the eye.  The inclusion of the foreground rocks provide depth and line up with the gully to point the way to your subject, the mountain.  A successful keeper I'd say.  Nice work!  Best, LM.
