I don't think that it is unusual to include the light source: Andrea included the lighter in his photo. Very nice. I think I will try something like this soon. I wonder what this would look like if you shone the light from below the statue. Very nice work, friend -- Janice

ciao maurizio, innanzi tutto grazie per tutti i commenti alle mie foto. su tuo suggerimento sto preparando qualche nota biografica da mettere sul sito, intanto ti anticipo che niki sta per nicola e che sono napoletano come te (la stazione delle foto è proprio quella di napoli). ti lascio due righe qui perchè mi ha incuriosito molto questa immagine, sia per le luci, sia perchè c'è la luce e poi per il gioco di chiaroscuri che mi sembra perfettamente riuscito.... alla prossima

A light in the dark..... and we see the light which is lighting in a very dramatic way...a statue. I wonder if there is a cryptic message in this Maurizio. No?.... I know I have a very vivid imagination....-:). All the same,it is a well balanced and unusual composition. Rgds  -ds-
