All the hues of Spring are in evidence all around me now. The tuilips will

soon be done. The yellow ones are my favorites, they seem so bright

and cheery. (comments welcome with thanks, Gail)

Gail,

Oh yes, a treasure indeed!!!  This is beautiful your processing has turned this into a classic image.  Thank you for sharing. Take care, Patsy

Post processing of this kind can go really bad very quickly. This is really good however. Like the texture of the background. Looks like someone kept the flower in a book for 10 years.

Cheers

Hi Gail,

It really fun to watch your progression. I really enjoyed this one. It's got a beautiful complexity to it without being overpowering. Another great addition. Keep at it my friend, your on the right track. Jim

I guess everyone goes through times that worry them beyond 'belief'. And when it is someone you love, it's like you 'wear them like a sweater each ; day, keeping them close for fear harm will come to them. Then your 'sweater' is taken off and you wait...and wait....and shiver.....feel lost and alone....till you are told 'your sweater will not unravel' and once again you put it on.....and things become warm and 'comfy' again.

Thankyou for your kind words Dave....cheers for now, Gail
