Questa si che è bella e funziona!

E' oggettivamente bilanciatissima: tre aree perfettamente delimitate. Il soggetto che si staglia contro il cielo, i motivi grafici della scalinata.

C'e' bisogno di queste foto ogni tanto per rifarsi gli occhi.

mario, luca, thanks for your words, but your compliments have to be sent to steve mc curry. let me explain. i saw photo shooted by this photographer, that i admire a lot, in the auditoruium of rome. i live very close to it, and i go very often there. so i tried  to shoot the same photo he shooted, just changing the point of 10 meters for the different focal lenght. my problem is that i cant find again that photo, i have be looking for it everywhere but nothing. maybe someone can help me in finding it?

PS. mario, my explication is the reason of your words "one of your best"...... ciao!

I like it..the man bracketed by the stairs looks almost funny, while the gigantic dome looks menacing. the clouds bear a premonition. a nice shot  compliments -koushik

Wonderfully dramatic image, Andrea. I love the sharp contrasts. I like the stance of the man, he's unclear of his direction or movement. He's an interesting anomaly.

Mr. McCurry, or not... (& I admire him too) -- But, imo,  this one has definitely your signature on it, Andrea..!  Really fantastic composition & beautiful contrasts...!  (see your architectural influences in it too) -- Have a good day! Gr, Marjolein

Esposizione perfetta, luci e ombre ben modulate. Risultato: foto gradevole e molto realistica. Complimenti Andrea, foto come questa sono una rarità.

Ciao Andrea! Ottimo lavoro: la composizione è molto buona come pure la luce e la resa tonale del bianconero. Complimenti e saluti.

Oh how I love the lines of all sizes taking my eyes upward on their journey and then to get lost in that lovely sky.  Thank you my friend for that wonderful journey.

I would love to be on the top step and just gaze into that welcoming sky.  If I ever find my way to Rome, you will have to take me to that spot.
