Moody and interesting if perhaps a little dark and obscure.  The fan, in motion, which is good,  is almost invisible at least on my screen; a shame since it is an important design element as you know and sets the photo apart for grace of fan and balances the image .

A charming face she has, strong features that do well in strong old ligtht, and very nice eye cosmetic treatment as an incidental observation.  Overall, a really nice idea, I compliment your imagination. gs

The detail of this image, emerging from the dark background, is truly captivating. Beautiful composition.

The low key approach works well, nice expression and pose.
