The pose is the same -- or similar enough -- just seen from different

angles. Lighting is directional in both cases, although noticeably

softer in the more frontal pose. Does this composite look

believable? (more on an aesthetic than technical level, i.e.,

not so much whether a picture like this could have been taken with two

models and some fancy lighting arrangement, but whether it looks

intriguing yet convincing, so to speak.)

Hi Tomek , in my opinion , maybe if you put the model of the left to the right it would work better since the light is harder and the model on the left as a softer light, anyway both shots are great, but for me the one on the left is a winner, excellent done , congrats and best wishes // Salvador 

Both are nice shots, but I agree with Salvador... the one on the left is just a perfect shot!

Because the models look to be on the same plane, no it doesn't really look like the same light source, plus the hard and soft light that Salvador mentioned.

Both models are superb shots with beautiful lighting .  I think that they would work better as two separate images
